After avidly reading a family's journal for the past few months, i have decided that this journal shall be less about me and more random and topical, but nevertheless
hoplessy devoted to nonscence. There will still be an occasional me time, but it's really not that interesting, so let's not go there.
My topic for today is the 1984 film
Clash Of The Titans a film i first saw when i was 8 or nine yeard old, 10 at a push and have only seen a couple of times since, so as it was on TV this afternoon you can imagine my immense joy that i got to see it again after many many years. There were a few things that i found eerie as a kid, namely Medusa, but it's funny how the mind forgets or blanks out some of the more eerie even scarier still things such as the deformed Calibos or the skeleton "ferryman". Sure the then cutting edge stop motion animation was getting tired, and now looks dated, but that doesn't take anything away from it being a great & fun fantaasy movie involving greek mythology.
In other news as evening dre close i happened to look out the window at a gorgeous blue/pink/purple/orange sky and tried my best to get it on my webcam (Till i eventually do get round to buying the digital camra - i have the means, ijust am picky about buying a capable one) So here are some pretty pictures:
So where are these pretty pictues you ask? I know. I tried. These pictures do the skies absolutetly no justice with the first two looking like an atom bomb has landed but these pics will be infrequent so let's hope the next one are digital yes?
